Founded in 2016, Bondi2Berry is the premier cycling event of the Dementia Research Community, and raises awareness of dementia and fundraises to help find a cure.
It is a challenging, yet beautiful ride – 155km in distance, and elevation of 1,700m. Riders start from the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, riding out of the Eastern Suburbs and travelling through parts of the Royal National Park to Wollongong, Kiama and finishing in Berry on the NSW south coast.

My Story
I am doing the Bondi2Berry Ride to Remember, a 155km cycle to help raise awareness of dementia. All fundraising raised will go towards dementia research.

Five years ago I lost my father to Alzheimer’s disease who lived with it for 20 years, and unfortunately five years ago my eldest sister was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease, she basically has no life and she sits in a wheel chair all day long, basically existing.
Clearly, wiping out dementia is a cause that’s very close to my heart and, given 152 million people worldwide will be diagnosed with dementia by the middle of the century, I’m guessing you may have also be impacted by it.
