The Bondi2Barossa Ride to Remember is a 1,400km cycle from Bondi Beach to the Barossa Valley over 9 days raising awareness of dementia.

My Story
I am doing the Bondi2Barossa Ride to Remember, a 1,400km cycle from Bondi Beach to the Barossa Valley over 9 days to help raise awareness of dementia.
Following the passing of my mother-in-law to dementia-related complications in 2020, the importance of raising money for research and support is more important now than ever.
Riding to Adelaide is going to be my toughest event to date but I'm looking forward to the challenge for such a worthy cause.

Today we did a reconnaissance of the first day of the ride and rode from Camden to Bowral. Thankfully the weather was sensible as there was a fair bit of climbing! But a great day out with a great crew.

We spent 4 hours on the trainer this morning at the annual ‘Sydney Harbour Splash’ down at Rose Bay to raise awareness for our ride and the Dementia Research Community.
